1988 - 1991 Made for Yorkshire Television by Hat Trick Productions Three series of six half hours shot at Limehouse and Teddington Studios
Round the Bend were three series commissioned by the ITV Network through Yorkshire Television from Hat Trick Productions. The original idea came from Patrick Gallagher, Tony Husband and Mark Rodgers who were illustrators on the comic Oink.
It took the shape of a magazine type programme with editor Doc Croc, a life sized Crocodile, and his team of reporting rats Vince Vermin, Luschetti Brushetti and Jemima Wellington-Green The whole programme was set in a sewer where they lived and worked. Each programme had the rats being hopelessly exploited by Doc for his own gain.
